Bangladeshi Heritage Month

March is Bangladeshi Heritage Month in Ontario! Bangladeshi Canadians have made significant contributions to Ontario’s scientific, athletic, cultural, and political development, and they continue to help foster growth, prosperity, and innovation throughout Ontario.

Every year on March 26th, Bangladeshi communities around the world celebrate Bangladesh’s Independence Day. This day is often celebrated with music, parades, fairs, and gatherings to honour their history and traditions.

Let’s take this opportunity to acknowledge and honour the many contributions of Bangladeshi Canadians and their role in strengthening our province’s vibrant multicultural tapestry.
